A FURIOUS Kroger shopper blasted the grocer after a horror self-checkout experience in-store.
The customer was left fuming after realizing the kiosks were closed at an Arkansas store.
They raged at the lines that had gathered at the checkouts inside the stores in the neighborhood of Lakewood, North Little Rock.
"The new competition from Edwards Food Giant doesn't seem to have sunk in," they posted on X, formerly Twitter.
The shopper shared a picture that showed two rows of self-checkout machines closed off.
A Kroger representative said they were sorry to hear about the lines inside the store.
Dozens of Kroger shoppers have shared their fury over long lines inside the store.
Another shopper posted an image on X that showed lines stretching to the back of the store.
Disgruntled customers were seen standing with their carts in the dessert aisle.
"Next time I'll just go elsewhere," they said.
Kroger shoppers seemed apoplectic that very few checkout lanes were open – even there though were plenty of customers waiting with carts and baskets.
Customers have urged the grocer to open more checkouts.

But it's not the only retailer that has come under fire over self-checkouts.
Walmart and Target shoppers have lashed out at the respective retailers.
Target has been mocked after bosses rolled out a new policy that means 10 or fewer items can be scanned at the self-service machines.
</div> </div> Chiefs trialed the measure at a select number of stores before rolling the policy out on a widespread basis.
A spokesperson for the chain told The U.S. Sun the policy is designed to cut waiting times.
However, the measure has not been welcomed by all shoppers.
Some have claimed they were denied a quick checkout because of the measure.
Others said Target had dropped the ball and claimed the shopping experience was no longer enjoyable.
Walmart recently hit the headlines when it was reported that self-checkout stations were being pulled from a store located in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri.
Bosses revealed it will take approximately two weeks for the makeover to be completed.
