Here's who else won in Texas GOP, Democratic runoffs besides Paxton

While all eyes were drawn to the contentiousTexas Attorney General Ken Paxtonand Sen. John Cornyn Republican runoff race for the U.S. Senate, there were other key races happening.

Both Democrats and Republicans solidified their choices for their party's nominee in several statewide races for November.

Here is a look at theunofficial resultsfrom the Texas Secretary of State, with the New York Times and Associated Press calling the races for certain candidates.

Here is a look at the outcome of the congressional race in Texas with the winners underlined.

As of 7 a.m., May 27, the only statewide race in Texas that AP and the NYT have not called is the Republican railroad commissioner runoff between Jim Wright (49.44%) and Bo French (50.56%), with over 95% of the vote in.

  • Lt. Gov. (Democratic runoff) - Vikki Goodwin: 67.76%, Marcos Isaias Velez: 32.24%, Total votes: 552,678.

  • Attorney General(Republican runoff) - Mayes Middleton: 55.24%, Chip Roy: 44.76%, Total votes: 1,367,764.

  • Attorney General(Democratic runoff) - Nathan Johnson: 60.51%, Joe Jaworski: 39.49%, Total votes: 549,106.

  • Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 3 (Republican runoff) - Thomas Smith: 58.09%, Alison Fox: 41.91%, Total votes: 1,238,199.

Here is a look at the outcome of the congressional race in Texas with the winners underlined.

As of 7 a.m., May 27, the only congressional race in Texas that AP and the NYT have not called is the Democratic District 14runoff between Richard Davis Thurman and Bill Bartie. With 98% of the vote in, Bartie leads Davis with 51%.

  • District 7 — Tina Cohen vs. Alexander Hale.

  • District 9 — Alex Mealer vs. Briscoe Cain.

  • District 16 — Adam Bauman vs. Manuel J. Barraza.

  • District 19 — Tom Sell vs. Abraham Enriquez.

  • District 30 — Everett Jackson vs. Sholdon Daniels.

  • District 33 — Patrick David Gillespie vs. John Sims.

  • District 35 — John Lujan vs. Carlos De La Cruz.

  • District 37 — Lauren B. Peña vs. Ge’Nell Gary.

  • District 38 — Shelly deZevallos vs. Jon Bonck.
