An advisor to President Donald Trump said that Immigration and Customs Enforcement may be at Bad Bunny's 2026 Super Bowl performance.
Trump's former 2016 campaign manager Corey Lewandowski made the remarks on YouTuber Benny Johnson's podcast, which was shared on X on Oct. 1.
"There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally," Lewandowski said on the podcast. "Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else. We will find you, we will apprehend you, we will put you in a detention facility and we will deport you. So, know that is a very real situation under this administration."

Bad Bunny skips US tour dates
Lewandowski's comments come as Bad Bunny revealed he skipped touring in the United States because of concerns over ICE. In an interview with I-D magazine, published Sept. 10, the Puerto Rican singer and songwriter addressed how the political climate impacted his decision.
"There were many reasons why I didn't show up in the U.S., and none of them were out of hate," he told the outlet. "Specifically, for a residency here in Puerto Rico, when we are an incorporated territory of the U.S. … people from the U.S. could come here to see the show. Latinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here, or to any part of the world."
The singer cited the Trump administration's mass deportation of Latinos as a specific motivation for his decision to stop doing shows in the U.S. "ICE could be outside (my concert). And it's something that we were talking about and very concerned about," he said.
