Frankie Muniz is giving fans major 2000s nostalgia after he reunited with his Malcolm in the Middle co-stars Justin Berfield and Christopher Masterson.
Muniz, Berfield, and Masterson played on-screen brothers Malcolm, Reese, and Francis in the original series, which aired on Fox from 2000 to 2006. Now, the trio is coming together to film a four-episode reboot miniseries that will premiere on Disney+ in December 2025.
"I was told not to post this yet, but then I listened to this song," Muniz captioned the post, which was set to the show's opening theme song "Boss of Me" by They Might Be Giants. "I'm just too excited for y'all to see the new episodes and I miss my brothers."

In the comment section, fans were ecstatic to see the TV brothers reunite nearly two decades after Malcolm in the Middle's finale.
"I'M SO EXCITED AND READY FOR THIS 💙💙💙," wrote one fan. "I'm sooooooo EXCITED 😆!!!!!" commented another.
Others pointed out the absence of Erik Per Sullivan, who played the fourth son, Dewey. Per Sullivan will not be starring in the reboot, as he has retired from acting and is currently pursuing his education. He's been recast with Caleb Ellsworth-Clark.
"It's still not gonna be the same without Dewey 😔," said one commenter. "Please try [your] best to bring Dewey back." added another.
In addition to Muniz, Berfield, and Masterson, original cast members Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek — who played the boy's parents — are also set to reprise their roles.
The reboot will continue the story from where the original series ended, focusing on Malcolm and his family 25 years later.
