Bridget Everett is open to expanding her circle of friends!
While attending New York City Ballet's Fall Fashion Gala at David H. Koch Theater, Lincoln Center, in New York on Wednesday, Oct. 8, Everett, 53, spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about friendship.
The Somebody Somewhere star revealed she doesn't have a lengthy list of traits that she looks for when making connections in Hollywood.
"I like somebody that you feel like you can take off your bra with and I feel like... I do that on stage, so I guess I feel like I can do it with anyone, but you know what I mean?" Everett tells PEOPLE.

"I think anybody who doesn't have a lot of high expectations of you and just wants to chill and have a teeny-teeny on the couch, that's it," she continues. "Really simple. I love people who make me giggle and I like making them giggle.
"I was with my friend Marc Shaiman today and he started giggling and I swear to God, that lit me up for the next two weeks," Everett adds.
The comedian and Shaiman notably collaborated on her autobiographical show Rock Bottom, which premiered in 2014.
Since Somebody Somewhere debuted in 2022, she's also developed a great bond with costar Jeff Hiller and tells PEOPLE she was delighted when he won an Emmy for the HBO series.
"It was like, aah. I got up. I was sitting, Murray Hill was my date and we were with Paul and Hannah," she says. "We were [with] the writers from the show, and it just felt like a Cinderella story. It felt like Jeff deserved it and we all freaked out."

Bridget Everett and Jeff Hiller in 'Somebody Somewhere'
Hiller, 49, previously told PEOPLE that he and Everett have their own version of "'tini time," which sees their on-screen, alter-ego besties Joel and Sam, respectively, enjoy martinis together.
"It's usually lots of people, and we have these two mutual friends who are a couple, so it's sometimes the four or five [of us] with my husband," Hiller said.
The actor joked that, unlike he's onscreen character, he has to be mindful of how much alcohol he drinks.
"I have to not have 'tinis anymore because Mama gets hungover," he joked. "Sometimes before I leave the party, I'm like, 'Oh God, I'm hungover.' I'm not quite the drinker that Joel is."
Somebody Somewhere can be streamed on Max.
