At Friday night's After The Hunt premiere, all eyes were on Ayo Edebiri. Promoting the psychological drama alongside director Luca Guadagnino and cast-mates Julia Roberts, Chloë Sevigny, and Andrew Garfield, the Emmy-winning actress made her Venice Film Festival debut in a gown worthy of her stardom.

A custom design by Chanel, the bold red look blended old Hollywood glamour with a contemporary feel—nodding to the industry's past while proving Edebiri is its future. A beacon of impeccable tailoring and dreamy draping, the piece featured a strapless neckline, column silhouette, and ruby buttons that held together fabric gathers, creating a cascading effect that drew the eye down from the waist to the floor-sweeping train. And though the gown matched the red carpet beneath it, it firmly stood out on its own.
As if this wasn't enough, Edebiri wowed at the film's photo call in another number by Chanel, a classic white tweed suit with a similar asymmetrical look that balanced modern detailing with timeless elegance. Styled by Danielle Goldberg, who also works with the likes of Margaret Qualley and Zoë Kravitz, the look's tapered trousers with gold buttons were certainly a standout.
This may have been the actress' first Venice Film Festival, but with the help of Chanel, she's already made her mark.

One of the most highly anticipated debuts from the Venice Film Festival this year, After The Hunt follows a college professor as her star student (Edebiri) files an accusation against a colleague. It will be released for streaming in October.
