Rufus Sewell is a married man.
The Diplomat star and Vivian Benitez wed in a castle in Wales in July 2024, less than a year after they announced their engagement in a post on Instagram.
"Till death (or him continuing to walk on bathmats with his outside shoes) do us part," Benitez joked in her caption.
The couple has been supporting one another at public events since July 2021. However, Benitez has posted glimpses of what appears to be Sewell on her Instagram since February 2020.

Benitez is an actress in her own right, having held roles in various projects across television and film.
Her acting credits include Arsenal and Criminal Minds and the short films Sky Dancers Grow Up and Don't Worry, It's Gonna Be OK.
She's a former model scout
Benitez is a former Wilhelmina model scout, a job she took on in her early 20s following her move to Los Angeles. At the start of her career, she was L.A.'s youngest model scout and a key player in expanding the top agency's scouting perimeters into the digital space, per E! Online.
In 2018, Snapchat launched a series titled Vivian. The now-defunct show gave viewers an inside look into Benitez's life as she chased her model scout dreams across New York and L.A.

Despite keeping their romance on the down low, Benitez and Sewell have stepped out alongside each other at a couple of public events. They walked the red carpet together at the premiere of Old in July 2021 and at multiple season premieres of Sewell's Netflix series The Diplomat.

Benitez has shared moments of her relationship with Sewell on her social media. While the British actor doesn't have a public Instagram of his own, she's sure to highlight him on her page.
In March 2023, Benitez shared photos from her birthday party, including one of the couple embracing on a couch.
"Just got over the hangover from my birthday party 4 months ago so here are some pics from it. I ❤️ my people and a good ol fashion house party," she wrote in the caption.
In August 2022, Benitez posted a series of photos from a trip to Wales including one of her and the Victoria star kissing on the beach.

Benitez announced her engagement to Sewell on Dec. 6, 2023. The proposal appears to have taken place in Italy, as the actress shared a photo of herself standing in front of the Trevi Fountain the night before announcing the news.
"3am in Rome," she captioned the post.
While it's unclear when and how the couple met, Benitez has been posting glimpses of her relationship since February 2020. At the time, the caption in one of her posts implied she's been dating the person since 2019.
"1 year of being in love has really taken my personality hostage. pray for its safe return," Benitez wrote alongside an image that featured the back of man hugging her as she smiled for the camera.
She has been candid about her and Sewell's 30-year age difference
Benitez, who is 30 years younger than Sewell, has poked fun at the difference between her and her husband on social media.
"Please pass on to anyone worried about our age difference, that it's ok now- i turned 27 this morning," she captioned a photo on Instagram, one day after announcing their engagement news.
In February 2020, she clapped back at several accounts who commented "sugar daddy" on her Instagram post.

Less than a year after announcing their engagement, Benitez and Sewell got married at Manorbier Castle in West Wales on July 17, 2024.
In honor of their first anniversary, Benitez shared a photo from their wedding day on Instagram, along with another joke about their age difference.
"1 year ago today!!!!! time flies when you're fighting about outside shoes on the bathmat and metal utensils on non-stick pans (ok that one is me)," she wrote in the caption. "he's funny, patient, curious and kind. he's the best thing about me and i'm so lucky to have found him in that nursing home."
