Andrew Garfield attended the 2025 Venice Film Festival with a noticeably changed appearance.
The actor, 42, promoted his upcoming movie After the Hunt at the 82nd annual event in Venice, Italy, on Friday, August 29. He sported his longest hairstyle in a while, wearing it tousled, and opted for a clean-shaven face instead of his usual beard.
As for his attire, Garfield looked red-carpet ready at the film's premiere, rocking a relaxed blue suit with a striped button-down shirt. He was joined by his After the Hunt costarsJulia Roberts, Ayo Edebiri, Michael Stuhlbarg and Chloë Sevigny.

In the psychological drama, Garfield portrays a college professor accused of misconduct by a student (Edebiri), and Roberts plays his colleague who tries to navigate the situation while hiding a dark secret of her own. The film is scheduled to be released in October.

Garfield's girlfriend, Monica Barbaro, also attended the After the Hunt premiere on Friday in support of him, though the couple — who have been linked since February — posed separately on the red carpet. One day earlier, the pair were spotted holding hands as they arrived in Venice for the festival.
In July, Garfield and Barbaro, 35, enjoyed a PDA-filled outing at Wimbledon in London, where they held hands and laughed and he kissed her cheek.
Garfield and Barbaro's personal relationship and professional lives will soon intersect as they are set to star in the upcoming film Artificial together. The movie is directed by Luca Guadagnino, who also helmed After the Hunt.
Garfield and Barbaro have yet to speak publicly about their romance. In a 2024 interview with Esquire, he explained his desire to maintain his privacy, telling the outlet, "I have never, and I won't ever, speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone, ever."
