A man had to have his leg amputated after spending over 20 hours with it wedged in-between rocks in a fast-flowing river. The man, in his 60s, got his leg trapped between rocks while pack rafting with a group of friends through the rapids in Tasmania's Franklin River at 2:30pm on Friday. An emergency alert was sent from the international visitor's smart watch about an hour after he had first gotten stuck and emergency services arrived soon after.
