Chocolate treat recalled in 39 states over fears it can cause 'life-threatening' allergic reactions
A brand of ice cream cones have been recalled due to undeclared allergens, health officials announced. The FDA said Friday that Colorado-based Hammond's Candies has voluntarily recalled its Dark Chocolate Filled Mini Waffle Cones due to containing undeclared milk. The agency said: 'People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.' The four-ounce bags were distributed in retails stores in 39 states and had 'Use By' dates of March 20, 2025, and May 20, 2025.
