The Valkyries opened the series with a thrilling 68-64 victory Saturday, overcoming an eight-point fourth-quarter deficit to secure their first WNBA Finals win in franchise history. Gabby Williams led the way with 26 points, helping Golden State close the contest on a 7-0 run. The Valkyries have been nearly unbeatable at home this postseason, and another victory at Chase Center would put them just two wins away from capturing their first championship.

Atlanta, meanwhile, will look to bounce back after suffering its first loss of the postseason. Allisha Gray led the Dream with 19 points in Game 1, while Angel Reese added 14 points and Rhyne Howard finished with 12. Despite controlling much of the opening contest, Atlanta struggled offensively down the stretch, scoring just eight points in the fourth quarter. The Dream will need a stronger performance from their star-studded lineup to even the series before returning home for Game 3 on Wednesday.
This is a great WNBA matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
