'SNL' Teases Ego Nwodim Was Fined Over Audience's Viral Interjection
Ego Nwodim returned to Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update-even after her now-viral bit seemingly landed her in hot water with the network. You know her, you love her [and] you got her fined by the FCC, show some love for Miss Eggy, costar Colin Jost quipped during the Saturday, May 17, segment. Nwodim, 37, then walked onstage, microphone in hand, to deliver a fictional stand-up set about airplane food. She previously debuted her alter ego during the April 5 episode, where fans interrupted her remarks.
