A judge was merciless in the sentencing of two abusive white parents who treated their five adopted black children like 'slaves' by forcing them to sleep on the floor, use buckets as a toilet, and even lock them in an outdoor shed. West Virginia couple Jeanne Kay Whitefeather, 62, and her husband Donald Lantz, 63 were arrested on child abuse and neglect charges on October 2, 2023. The saga finally came to an end on Wednesday when Judge Maryclaire Akers announced their fate in a circuit court.
