Nigel Farage heaped gushing praise on Elon Musk last night, weeks after Donald Trump's attack dog called for him to be removed as Reform UK leader. Mr Farage used a speech at a pro-Trump rightwing rally in the US to label the X owner a 'hero of free speech' for his efforts to deregulate the social media platform. Appearing at the the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Mr Farage also lavished tributes on Mr Musk for his work at at the head of the 'Department for Government Efficiency' (Doge), which has slashed US government projects over the past month in ways that have been challenged in the courts.
