Leighton Meester Says She Meets New Gossip Girl Fans Who Werent Even Born When the Show Ended in 2012

Leighton Meester says that many fans who recognize her from Gossip Girl weren't even alive yet when the show debuted in 2007. "Now people are like, 'It's vintage.' "Meester, 38, told Access Hollywood in a recent interview promoting her new series, Good Cop/Bad Cop. "Or sometimes I'm like, 'You weren't born yet when we started.' There's a lot of that. Or even when we wrapped." And despite the fact the show went off the air in 2012 after six seasons, Meester noted that some audience members are new to the series.
