Izabella Philips says people have mistaken her for an astronaut because of the space-like helmet she needs to wear whenever she leaves her house. The 21-year-old from Colorado suffers from a condition that makes her allergic to the sun, forcing her to cover up completely to avoid breaking out in hives and a painful rash. Ms Phillips first noticed itchy red blotches and burning sensation developing all over her body when her skin was exposed to ultraviolet (UV) rays outside at 14 years old.
