Britney Spears is celebrating her 43rd birthday — and receiving a gift of sorts from the California courts. The pop star was declared legally single on Monday, Dec. 2, seven months after her divorce from ex-husband Sam Asghari was finalized in Los Angeles on May 2, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE. Spears and Asghari, 30, separated in late July 2023, just 13 months after their star-studded wedding. He filed for divorce in August 2023, citing irreconcilable differences.
