Beloved burger chain Shake Shack has been named America's most expensive fast-food restaurant following a recent study. Analysis, conducted by Preply, showed that Shake Shack was ranked the most overpriced fast-food chain following a hike of 3 per cent in its prices earlier this year. To conduct the study, Preply analysed the language in 57,245 reviews for over 10,000 restaurants across the US. The study comes after scores of Americans complained that they have felt the pinch of inflation when it comes to ordering from their favourite burger restaurants, as prices for fast food are higher than ever.
