Harris, 60, had dozens of stars backing her White House bid, with Showbiz royalty Oprah and Beyoncé, among others, accompanying her at her events. Blockbuster stars George Clooney and Julia Roberts featured in her campaign ads, and millennial and Gen-Z icons, such as Taylor Swift and Charli XCX, urged citizens to turn up at the polls - but her campaign's reliance on 'virtue-signalling' A-listers was not enough.
