More than 7,000 boxes of frozen waffles have been recalled due to potentially containing plastic. Utah-based Kodiak Cakes LLC initiated the recall last month of its Kodiak Power Waffles Buttermilk & Vanilla 'due to the potential presence of soft plastic film,' the company said. The affected products were sold at Costco Wholesale stores in 13 Midwestern states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
