While other industries are suffering from mass layoffs, healthcare is growing at a stunning rate. The recession-proof industry has grown by 11 percent since the beginning of 2022 - double the pace of other sectors, Market Watch reported. To put that in perspective, business and professional services have inched along at 3.7 percent, according to the Department of Labor. And as well as doctors and nurses, there is also huge demand for administrative staff who don't require an advanced degree, Nina Cisneros, Express Healthcare Staffing's healthcare director, told the outlet.
