Shōgun is far from over. Based on James Clavell's 1975 novel of the same name, the FX/Hulu historical drama is set in 17th-century Japan and follows the political ambitions of three characters whose lives become entangled. There's Lord Yoshi Toranaga (Hiroyuki Sanada), an influential leader whose allegiance to the realm's shogun, an equivalent to a monarch or a king, is being questioned by political rivals. Meanwhile, John Blackthorne (Cosmo Jarvis), an English sailor, ends up shipwrecked and finds himself at the epicenter of Toranaga's troubles.
