The new model of America's bestselling vehicle will be missing a staple feature - unless buyers are willing to pay extra. For decades, Ford's F-150 trucks have come as standard with the SecuriCode keypad - which allows the vehicle to be locked or unlocked without keys. For the 2025 model, which is now on sale, it is a dealer option costing $455, according to Ford Authority. First introduced in 1980, SecuriCode became a common feature on many Ford and Lincoln trucks and SUVs, including the Bronco Sport, Escape, Explorer and Maverick.
