Charlie Hunnam to Play Serial Killer Ed Gein in Season 3 of Ryan Murphy's Monster

Charlie Hunnam is the latest star of Ryan Murphy's Monster series. The Sons of Anarchy actor, 44, is set to play the role of serial killer Ed Gein in the third season of the show. Murphy announced the news at the Los Angeles premiere of Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story on Monday, Sept. 16, with production set to begin in October. According to Variety, Gein — who was from Wisconsin — became popular in the 1950s after he was found to have killed multiple people and dug up graves near his home.
