Maggie Steffens has found the perfect spot in Paris to decompress. Steffens, who is competing in Paris as the captain of the U.S. women's water polo team, revealed just days after the Olympics started that her sister-in-law Lulu Conner died after traveling to Paris for the 2024 Games. Since then, she spoke to PEOPLE about Lulu and her legacy, calling the 26-year-old artist "a light." On Aug. 1, five days after sharing the news of Conner's death, Steffens, 31, posted a photo taken alongside a river, with only her legs and lap visible in the shot as she sat on a bench with a customized journal in her lap.
