A REDDIT consumer has claimed to have made an enormous mistake that left their iPhone very damaged.
The iPhone proprietor says they made an adjunct error that ended up destroying the again of their device.
A picture of the unlucky mistake was posted to the popular Reddit discussion board r/iPhone.
The forum is described as "Reddit's little corner for iPhone lovers (and a few people who simply mildly take pleasure in it…)."
"Do NOT stick anything adhesive on your back glass," the disgruntled iPhone proprietor wrote.
They hooked up an image of a really broken device to the submit which showed the glass on the back of the telephone had cracked.
A few of the glass is missing and the internal contents of the telephone are visible.
The publish was upvoted more than 200 occasions, and different Reddit users expressed their disbelief that glue might cause such injury.
"Did you rip it off quick like a Band-Assist and it was too late before you realized or was it a slow-mo practice wreck and also you stored going as a result of why the hell not? Genuinely curious lol," one consumer requested.
"It was already slightly cracked earlier than my attempt, using numerous gadgets to attempt to pry it off I knew it wouldn't come off without shattering the back.
"Stated f*** it and handed it to my boyfriend who ripped it off taking a piece of glass with it," the preliminary poster replied.
"Why would you do this and not using a case," the preferred comment said.

It's not just adhesive that you need to stay away from your iPhone.
Apple has a list of products on its website which are greatest avoided the system.
"Clean your iPhone instantly if it is available in contact with something which may trigger stains or different injury — for instance, filth or sand, ink, makeup, cleaning soap, detergent, acids or acidic foods, or lotions," it warns.
