AN AMAZON shopper has claimed they have been scammed out of $1855 after purchasing a product on the platform.
Footage of the reported scam have been posted on the favored Reddit platform r/amazonprime.
Over 100,000 Amazon buyers use the platform to debate merchandise and share advice.
One consumer posted a number of footage of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics processing unit that they'd bought.
The field was sealed in plastic and didn't look peculiar from the surface.
"Finally turned sufferer to a return scam, paid $1855 for a bag of flour," the disgruntled user wrote.
They offered five pictures of the box, together with one which exhibits the processing unit isn't inside.
As an alternative, a nasty of flour is pictured instead regardless of the box seeming to be unopened prior to the client's unboxing.
