If there's one thingBad Bunnyis going to do, it's put his beloved island of Puerto Rico on top time and time again.
After taking home two Grammy awards for best música urbana album and best global music performance earlier on Sunday, Feb. 1,Bad Bunny made historyby taking home the album of the year award for "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS," his sixth studio album released last January.
Bad Bunny, who's set to take theSuper Bowl halftime show stagenext Sunday, sat in his chair for a few moments, visibly emotional with tears in his eyes, before going up on stage to accept his award. He received the gramophone fromHarry Styles, who won album of the year in 2023.
Beyoncétook home the award last year for "Cowboy Carter."
During his speech, in both Spanish and English, the Puerto Rican superstar paid homage to his island, his mother and his community.

"Puerto Rico, believe me when I tell you, when we're much bigger than 100 x 35 [miles], and there's nothing we can't achieve. Thank you, God. Thank you to the Academy. Thank you to everyone who has believed in me throughout my entire career. Thank you to all the people who have worked on this album.

In November 2025, the Puerto Rican reggaeton superstar kicked off his 24-date DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS world tour with back-to-back nights in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Then, in December, her performed more shows in Mexico City before kicking off the new year in Santiago, Chile, and then making a quit pit stop back in the states to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show in February.

Week after week, the casita welcomed A-listers, from NBA legend LeBron James to "Mad Men" actor Jon Hamm. Bad Bunny's "Caught Stealing" costar Austin Butler also attended, and singer Becky G, actress Penélope Cruz and her husband Javier Bardem, fellow Boricua Ricky Martin and Mexican pop star Belinda were a few of the many spotted in the VIP section at the shows.
And for the world tour shows, it's no different.
