A disability advocate and influencer with a rare kind Muscular Dystrophy shared her heartbreaking experiences while traveling home for the holidays. Nila Morton, 25, is a graduate student at Howard University who suffers from Ullrich - a genetic condition that has left her wheelchair-bound with limited mobility. She was thrilled to be traveling from Washington DC back to South Carolina to visit her family for Thanksgiving after not seeing them for nearly a year, but her trip quickly turned sour.
